Shira Kinzbrunner joined GACE in 2004. During her tenure at GACE, Shira has managed a wide array of project types including Residential, Hospitality, and Commercial, with an emphasis in steel structures and Healthcare projects. Recent projects include the Waterfront Corporate Center in Hoboken and the modernization of White Plains Hospital. In addition to managing her projects, Shira also serves on both the firm’s Business Development and Professional Development Committees.
An altruist, Shira believes in the importance of volunteering in the community. For four years she has participated in CANstruction New York, a canned food drive and design-build competition. She also volunteers at career fairs, providing guidance to students early in their engineering careers.
Shira holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Columbia University, and is a member of the American Concrete Institute (ACI), the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
