New York, NY

This is a 12-story, 128 unit, residential condominium building. Amenities include a rooftop garden, fitness center, game room and lounge, children’s playroom, bike parking, and on-site car garage. This building is LEED certified with apartment layouts, materials, and mechanical systems specifically designed to maximize efficiency and ensure sustainability. Some of the ‘green’ features include: high-efficiency boilers, water-source heat pumps, high-performance window walls, superior insulation, 5,000 square feet of landscaped roof terrace, bamboo flooring, water-reducing fixtures, energy star appliances, and glass and bamboo cabinetry. Not only is the building itself sustainably designed; an example of its intent to promote ‘green’ living is its reduced on-site parking rate for energy efficient cars.
