10 Madison Square West

Part of the historic International Toy Center, 10 Madison Square West (at 1107 Broadway) was built in the early 1900s and was recently converted to high-end residential use. A 6-story structural steel addition was constructed on top of the existing 17-story steel structure. The design of new addition as well as extensive reinforcement of the existing structure posed many challenges due to the diversified design of the new luxury apartments.
