55 Hope Street
Brooklyn, NY
This project is a residential conversion of a hundred-year-old industrial warehouse in Williamsburg. A condition survey of the deteriorated building revealed the need for extensive structural repairs throughout. The conversion included the addition of a new elevator core, stair cores, and a partial lowering of the first floor to allow access from the sidewalk. The existing roof framing was reinforced to support a new landscaped roof-top terrace.
