245 and 249 West 17th Street
New York, NY
This project involved the renovation of an existing 6-story commercial building now home to tenants including Twitter and Room and Board. The services performed consisted of structural support for infrastructure upgrades among which include a new generator, cooling towers and new stairs to the roof and bulkhead. Existing roof framing was reinforced to accommodate a new public terrace. Storefronts were replaced to create a new open 1st floor retail space, while the upper floors were “white-boxed”.
