This historic hotel was built in the early 1900s and converted to offices in the early 1920s. The current project involves conversion of the commercial building back to its original use as a hotel. The renovation includes relocating some existing columns, demolishing portion of the building at the south courtyard, replacing the existing penthouse, relocating and adding service elevators and upgrading existing 4th floor and roof capacity to become rooftop bar and restaurant. The project was filed with the MTA for approval.
