Navy Green
Brooklyn, NY
This project, comprised of several new buildings, has transformed an underutilized, industrial section of Brooklyn into a vibrant mixed-income neighborhood. The area which once housed the Navy Brig is now home to market-rate co-ops and condos as well as supportive housing, and features a common green space connecting them all. The development includes four apartment buildings ranging from 7 to 12 stories, as well as 23 new 4-story townhouses. The structure of all of these multi-family buildings is reinforced masonry wall and precast concrete plank.
