995 Fifth Avenue
New York, NY
This steel framed building was constructed in 1926, patterned after luxurious European manor houses, and operated as a 185-room hotel until 2005. Today, it has undergone a conversion into a 27-unit residential co-op with a new 2-story penthouse above the existing roof. The new addition is comprised of steel framing supporting concrete on metal deck floors.
