Nay Naing PE
Senior Associate
Nay joined GACE in 2007. During his time with the firm he has managed an array of different project types, with an emphasis on concrete residential high-rise construction. Nay is an out-of-the-box thinker, often called upon to engineer solutions towards complex design challenges; as with the award-winning 160 East 22nd Street, a 21-story concrete flat plate building which includes a 24' cantilever over a neighboring building. Other notable projects include 25-21 43rd Avenue in Long Island City, a block and plank residential building which cantilevers over the subway line; and 30 East 31st Street, a slender 40-story condominium tower in Manhattan. In addition to managing his projects, Nay enjoys facilitating the development of GACE's junior staff. He serves on our Professional Development Committee and administers training and welcome seminars for our new engineers.
Nay is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Connecticut and holds a Master's degree in Structural Engineering as well as a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the City College of New York.
